Barrier 21 / DermaBlok® is a protective cream that enhances the natural lipid system by penetrating the outer layer of skin, the epidermis, and bonding with the skin to create a soft shield that prevents irritation of the sensitive living tissue beneath. With consistent use of Barrier 21 / DermaBlok®, contact with a wide variety of external irritants is reduced allowing skin health to improve naturally.
Barrier 21 / DermaBlok® protects the skin from occupational and household exposures to such substances as chemicals, detergents, cleaning solvents, oils, fuels, paints, dyes, pesticides, etc. Barrier 21 / DermaBlok® will also provide limited protection against harsh acids, alkalis and toxic substances.
When worn under gloves, Barrier 21 / DermaBlok® significantly reduces perspiration but does not contain aluminum zirconium compounds. Reduction of under glove moisture accumulation decreases the dangers of leakage should glove failure occur.
